FC Barcelona are looking to sign a lot of players this summer and have been linked with several names. With Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen tied down, the club is now looking for reinforcements in attack as Ousmane Dembele’s future is still in the air.
Leeds United winger Raphinha is the name Barcelona has been linked with for over a month now. His agent is Barcelona’s former player Deco, which will make negotiations easy. Leeds could be relegated from the Premier League if they lose their remaining two games against Brighton and Brentford.
If Leeds go down, Raphinha’s release clause will be 25 million euros, and if they manage to stay up, his price will be negotiated for.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano said that personal terms between Raphinha and Barcelona are at an advanced stage, with a five-year-deal in place since February. There’s no 75 million euro release clause, only the 25 million euros in case of relegation for the Brazilian international.
The 25-year-old has 10 goals and 3 assists to his name in 33 Premier League appearances for Leeds this season. There are also reports that Barcelona wants to sign him irrespective of Dembele’s future at the club.
