After the Disappointing 1-1 draw against Alaves in LaLiga, Barcelona would be facing the Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv for their third game in the Champions League. Barcelona are currently topping group G while they stay unbeaten in this year’s Champions League by defeating Ferencvárosi 5-0 at Camp Nou and Juventus 2-0 in Turin. While Barcelona would want to keep behind their LaLiga form to strengthen their position as group leaders, Dynamo Kyiv would be looking to get their first win this season against the Catalan Club.

Dynamo Kyiv

Dynamo Kyiv is left with tough selection place as 9 of their first-team squad players are not available as they have tested positive for Covid-19, leaving them with only 13 first-team players available for selection. The goalkeeping department is the main issue for selection as both of the first-team keepers have been tested positive for Covid-19.

With many players unavailable, this would be a tough match for Dynamo Kyiv to field a competitive 11. They would look to get back in the tournament and fight towards qualifying from the group stage. Simultaneously, Barcelona would want to get back in form after the below-par performances in LaLiga. Also, with this win, they could become strengthen their spot as group toppers. Much has been talked about Lionel Messi’s goal scoring form in recent weeks, so; he would be hoping to score his first open-play goal of the season and silence his critics. Neither of the teams would be taking this match lightly and would be hoping to gain crucial 3 points which will be up for grabs.
